Lady Gaga se emociona ao lembrar de perda que sofreu durante a última cena de ‘Nasce Uma Estrela’: ‘Por dez minutos’

“Nós escrevemos essa música… é muito especial. É uma música que ele (Jackson) escreve para ela (Ally). Tem uma reviravolta muito trágica no final. Filmamos no The Shrine, que Bradley queria fazer como uma homenagem à versão de Judy Garland“, explicou ela, sem revelar qual era o nome da canção final do longa.

“Naquele dia, minha amiga Sonja, que lutava contra o câncer durante anos, sua amiga me ligou … Eu podia ouvi-la gemendo ao fundo”, disse Gaga. “Eu deixei o set… Eu não posso acreditar que nem parei para ver Bradley, e entrei no meu carro e comecei a dirigir, e não cheguei a tempo por dez minutos“, disse Gaga visivelmente emocionada, chegando a chorar após uma pausa na fala.

I don't know how to put a price on a friendship. I'm not even sure how you can assess the size of its meaning, only really your heart truly knows and it's too special for words. I know that's not true, and I know that I have those memories forever, I'm just in shock that I will never have new ones with her. I'm in shock that I won't see her again until I pass too. I vow to be a little stronger everyday for her because that's what she would have wanted, I vow to be stronger for anyone who's lost somebody to cancer. I'm a part of that family now. I vow to be a warrior for her and be a voice for cancer patients so the world can continue to improve the dialogue and the fight. I loved her. I still love her. And I love so much her husband Andre, stepson Sante, and friends. I made them some food yesterday. I will keep cooking. Cooking my soul until it understands this. “Ela me deu um trágico presente naquele dia e eu o levei comigo quando voltei para o set e cantei aquela música por Jackson e por ela nesse mesmo dia, em uma hora. A vida é difícil. Mas nós temos que nos manter juntos. O que é mais importante? Fama? O que é importante é o processo do amor e gentileza. Bradley agiu de uma forma tão bonita comigo naquele dia. Ele foi tão amoroso“, revelou Gaga ainda tentando conter suas lágrimas.

“Eu me lembro que, em um take, ele pegou o monitor e trouxe até mim e me mostrou o último frame do filme. (…) Eu penso que a estrela desse filme é a coragem humana. É a bravura e está em ambos. Eu me sinto honrada por fazer parte dessa história“, relatou a diva.
