Com a cerimônia marcada para acontecer em algumas semanas, o Billboard Music Awards 2021 revelou na manhã desta quinta-feira (29), a lista completa de indicados! O anúncio contou com a presença de vários artistas e personalidades, incluindo a nossa girl from Rio, Anitta.
O muso do conceito, coesão e aclamação, The Weeknd, liderou a lista com 16 indicações, dentre elas “Top Artista”, “Top Artista Masculino”, “Top Artista Top 100”, “Top Artista nos Streamings” e “Top Artista de Vendas”. O número arrebatador de nomeações pode render a Abel mais uma conquista – caso vença todas, ele ultrapassará Taylor Swift, que teve 23 vitórias no evento ao longo da carreira, ficando no segundo lugar desse ranking. É o patrão!
Swift, por sua vez, está concorrendo a quatro prêmios e pode empatar o recorde de Drake com o maior número de vitórias de todos os tempos – o rapper já reuniu 27 estatuetas da premiação e em 2021 concorre em seis categorias. Dua Lipa também recebeu o reconhecimento da empresa de gráficos, com quatro indicações – dentre elas “Top Artista Feminina” e “Top Música de Rádio”, categoria na qual nosso reizinho do pop, Harry Styles, também aparece. Merecido, não é mesmo?
O Billboard Music Awards 2021 será transmitido em 23 de maio, direto do Microsoft Theatre, em Los Angeles, na Califórnia.
