‘Riverdale’ domina Teen Choice Awards 2018; confira a lista de vencedores e as apresentações da noite

Rolou na noite deste domingo (12) a cerimônia do Teen Choice Awards 2018, a premiação mais descontraída e com o maior número de categorias do circuito norte-americano. Foram reconhecidos por seus trabalhos artistas do cinema, da televisão e da música, além de personalidades da internet.

Este ano, o palco foi comandado pela youtuber e atriz venezuelana, naturalizada norte-americana, Lele Pons e o ator e comediante Nick Cannon. Lele é um fenômeno nas redes sociais, sobretudo no Instagram, por seu jeito bem humorado e non-sense de ser. A loira gravou um vídeo para abertura da premiação encontrando o co-apresentador ideal para dividir com ela a apresentação da festa.

O grande destaque da foi ‘Riverdale’, que venceu oito categorias. A produção era a grande favorita e levou a melhor como série dramática de TV, desbancando sucessos como ‘This is Us’ e ‘Empire’.

Zac Efron se emocionou ao subir ao palco para receber a prancha/prêmio como melhor ator em filme dramático por seu papel em ‘O Rei do Show’. O galã era só elogios a sua colega de elenco Zendaya: “Obrigado por ser uma pessoa tão incrível. Tão linda, tão talentosa, tão corajosa”.

*PERFORMANCES

O californiano Lauv abriu os shows da noite cantando ‘I Like Me Better’.

Meghan Trainor começou sua apresentação arrasando com ‘No Excuses’ e concluiu cantando ‘Let You Be Right’.

O ‘Foster The People’ levou sua vibe indie ao palco para cantar ‘Sit Next to Me’, canção do mais recente álbum da banda ‘Sacred Hearts Club’.

Uma das atrações mais aguardadas da noite, Bebe Rexha arrasou cantando o hit ‘I’m a Mess’ em uma cama gigante no palco da premiação. A platinada abusou da sensualidade e fez a plateia do The Forum, na Califórnia, cantar em coro.

Khalid, que venceu o prêmio de melhor canção de R&B/Hip Hop também se apresentou com um medley de seus sucessos.
