Nesta quinta-feira (12) foram anunciados os indicados à 70ª edição do Emmy, premiação de maior relevância da TV, que elege as melhores séries, atuações e programas dos EUA. Parte da aguardada lista foi revelada pela nomeada no ano passado Samira Wiley (“The Handmaid’s Tale” e “Orange Is the New Black”) e por Ryan Eggold, astro do novo drama da NBC “New Amsterdam”.
Aos dois, se juntou Hayma Washington, presidente da Academia de Televisão dos EUA, em evento transmitido pelo site oficial da premiação. De acordo com anúncio do próprio, a categoria de “Melhor Série Dramática” será disputada por “The Handmaid’s Tale”; “The Americans”; “The Crown”; “Stranger Things”; “Westworld”; “This is US” e “Game of Thrones”. Já entre as comédias, “Black-ish”; “Atlanta”; “Barry”; “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”; “Glow”; “Curb Your Enthusiasm”; “Silicon Valley” e “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” foram os destaques.
