Chegou o grande dia! Rola logo mais à noite neste domingo (20), direto do MGM Grand Garden Arena, em Las Vegas, o Billboard Music Awards 2018, premiação que contempla os artistas de melhor desempenho nas paradas de sucesso do último ano.
A anfitriã do bapho será a maravilhosa Kelly Clarkson, que marca sua primeira vez como apresentadora de uma premiação televisionada. A cantora já conseguiu emplacar 11 singles no Top 10 da Billboard durante sua carreira. Lançado em outubro, o oitavo álbum de estúdio de Clarkson, “Meaning of Life”, alcançou o segundo lugar nas paradas. Ela, certamente, vai arrasar com todo seu bom humor, né?!
Na edição deste ano, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar e Ed Sheeran lideram a lista com 15 indicações cada. Todos os três concorrem ao prêmio de Top Artist, competindo ainda com Drake, que recebeu 9 nomeações, e Taylor Swift, que levou 5. Na sequência, Post Malone aparece na vice-liderança com 13 indicações em 12 categorias, e Imagine Dragons completa o pódio, já que foi indicado 11 vezes em 10 categorias.
Ainda temos Justin Bieber e Cardi B empatados com oito indicações, e os donos do hit “Despacito”, Luis Fonsi e Daddy Yankee, que podem sair da cerimônia com até sete prêmios cada um. Cardi foi indicada à categoria Top New Artist, na qual concorre com 21 Savage, Camila Cabello, Khalid e Kodak Black.
