Os indicados ao Emmy Awards 2018 serão revelados nesta quinta-feira (12) e nós já entramos no clima da premiação que é considerada o Oscar da televisão. Por isso, reunimos aqui as previsões das principais revistas especializadas em entretenimento nos Estados Unidos – Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter e Variety – que geralmente acertam os escolhidos para a lista de indicações.
Entre as séries de drama, as mais cotadas são “The Handmaid’s Tale”, “Game of Thrones”, “This is Is”, “The Americans”, “The Crown”, “Stranger Things” e “Westworld”. Já na lista de séries cômicas, produções como “Atlanta”, “Barry”, “black-ish”, “GLOW”, “Modern Family”, “Will & Grace”, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” e “Silicon Valley” devem garantir algumas nomeações.
O período de elegibilidade foi de 1º de junho de 2017 a 31 de maio de 2018, o que significa que a lista contemplará séries e produções que estrearam ou foram exibidas entre essas datas. Já o período de votação para os membros da Academia será de 13 a 27 de agosto, e os vencedores serão anunciados ao vivo na 70ª edição do Emmy Awards, marcada para o dia 17 de setembro, direto do Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles, com apresentação de Colin Jost e Michael Che, dupla de âncoras do ‘Weekend Update’, do “Saturday Night Live”.
