SAIU!!! Com um hiato de discos novos desde fevereiro de 2014, Mariah Carey presenteou os fãs com o lançamento de “GTFO”. O mais novo single da cantora foi lançado nesta quinta-feira (13) e é uma baladinha gostosa para a gente curtir de olhinho fechado, apenas apreciando os vocais.
O título da música é a sigla: “Get the F*** Out” (Dê o fora daqui) e a letra fala sobre uma pessoa que teve o coração partido por outra e a expulsa. A última canção lançada pela cantora foi “I Don’t”, parceria com o rapper YG. Após isso, ela fez uma série de shows como residente em Las Vegas. Estávamos com saudade.
Em agosto, a cantora disse em uma entrevista à revista People que está trabalhando em um álbum novo. Vem hit! “Esta sou eu neste momento da minha vida sendo capaz de me expressar como escritora e cantora. Eu estou realmente em um bom lugar. Realmente é um trabalho de amor. Estou muito animada para mostrar aos fãs“.

E sobre o novo trabalho, a diva explicou que não pretende seguir as modinhas do momento, mas sim cantar as músicas que ela sente que os fãs gostariam de ouvir dela. “O que os meus fãs querem é me ouvir cantando do coração. Algumas canções vão ser leves e divertidas, e outras bem profundas nas letras. É uma boa mistura das duas coisas“.
