‘Critics’ Choice Awards 2020′: “O Irlandês”, “Coringa” e “Era Uma Vez em Hollywood” saem na frente no aquecimento para o Oscar; veja lista de indicados!

No “Critics’ Choice”, o longa de Martin Scorsese colocou Robert De Niro, Al Pacino e Joe Pesci – o trio de protagonistas – na disputa, sem falar das suas outras 11 categorias técnicas e de direção. “Era Uma Vez em… Hollywood” veio logo em seguida, totalizando 12 indicações, como as de “Melhor Ator”, para Leonardo DiCaprio; “Melhor Ator Coadjuvante” para Brad Pitt; e “Melhor Diretor”, para Quentin Tarantino.

Atrás deles, temos “Adoráveis Mulheres”, de Greta Gerwig, com nove indicações; “1917” e “História de um Casamento”, com oito cada. Mas, sem dúvida, não podemos esquecer de uma das grandes apostas da temporada: “Coringa”. A história cinematográfica do clássico vilão, agora interpretado por Joaquin Phoenix, recebeu sete indicações, incluindo as de “Melhor Filme” e “Melhor Ator”.

No time da televisão, a HBO somou o maior número de produções listadas com 33 no total. Mas foi “Olhos que Condenam”, o mais indicado. Ganhadora do “Emmy 2019” de “Melhor Minissérie”, a trama da Netflix – que conta a história de cinco rapazes condenados injustamente por conta do racismo – já pode torcer pela vitória nas seis categorias que concorre, sendo cinco delas para as estrelas de seu elenco, e a sexta na categoria de “Melhor Minissérie”.

“This Is Us” e “Schitt’s Creek” também se deram bem, figurando em cinco categorias cada. Atrás delas, temos um empate com outras sete renomadíssimas produções, que estão concorrendo em quatro categorias no ‘Critics’ Choice”. São elas: “Game of Thrones”, “Barry”, “Chernobyl”, “The Crown”, “Fleabag”, “Fosse/Verdon” e “The Good Fight”. Nossa querida “GoT” disputa na categoria de “Melhor Série Dramática”, além de ter Kit Harington, Gwendoline Christie e Peter Dinklage indicados.

O “Critics’ Choice Awards” representa a visão da crítica sobre grandes produções do momento, eleitas pela Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA). A premiação é considerada um grande termômetro para o “Oscar”, então já podemos ficar de olho nas apostas para o ano que vem… A entrega das estatuetas do “Critics’ Choice Awards 2020” acontece em 12 de janeiro.
