Finalmente veio aí! Nesta segunda-feira, 15 de janeiro, acontecerá o “Emmy Awards” – o maior e mais prestigioso prêmio destinado às produções e aos profissionais da televisão norte-americana. A premiação – que na verdade representa a edição 2023 do evento – estava originalmente programada para acontecer em setembro passado, mas foi adiada devido às greves da WGA (Writers Guild of America) e SAG-AFTRA.
A 75ª edição da premiação anunciou os concorrentes em julho do último ano e deve reconhecer os programas e atores que se destacaram entre 1º de junho de 2022 e 31 de maio de 2023.
Este ano, a HBO ocupou o topo da lista com três produções: o destaque ficou para o drama “Succession“, que reuniu 27 indicações ao todo, bem como “The Last of Us” e “The White Lotus“, que tiveram 24 e 23 indicações cada. Já a série queridinha das categorias de comédia, “Ted Lasso”, da Apple TV, recebeu 21 indicações.
Os outros favoritos da edição são “A Maravilhosa Sra. Maisel” (14 indicações), “O Urso” (13 indicações), “Treta” (13 indicações), “Dahmer: Um Canibal Americano” (13 indicações), “Wandinha” (12 indicações), “Only Murders in the Building” (11 indicações) e “Barry” (11 indicações). Produções como “Abbott Elementary”, “Jury Duty”, “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, “Andor”, “The Crown” e “Better Call Saul” também tiveram destaque.
