A faixa – produzida pelo craque FINNEAS – faz parte do álbum de estreia do cantor, “Nicotine”, que contém ainda na tracklist, o sucesso “Falling”. O hit ganhou forças no aplicativo Tik Tok, até que alcançou as paradas de sucesso ao redor do mundo.

Em declaração feita durante uma live no YouTube, Selena explicou o motivo pelo qual se identificou tanto com a faixa. “Quando eu ouvi a música pela primeira vez, amei o fato de que contava uma história sobre todas as coisas pelas quais acostumamos nos apegar. E eu sou muito aberta sobre minhas experiências pessoais e sobre tomar decisões que talvez não sejam necessariamente saudáveis para mim. Então poder falar desse jeito, foi muito lindo”, admitiu a cantora.
