É hoje! Confira tudo que você precisa saber sobre o “Billboard Music Awards 2022”

A premiação celebra os nomes que mais se destacaram nas paradas de sucesso da Billboard. Tanto os indicados, como os vencedores, são eleitos por meio dos dados de interação dos ouvintes com suas músicas, incluindo vendas digitais de canções e álbuns, streaming, reprodução em rádios, turnê e engajamento nas redes sociais. A lista de indicados foi baseada em números recolhidos entre 26 de março de 2021 até 17 de março de 2022.

E como esperado, a música pop reinou, né? The Weeknd e Doja Cat lideraram a lista de nomeações, com 17 e 14 indicações, respectivamente. Mas não foram só eles! Lil Nas X, Drake, Dua Lipa, Kanye ‘Ye’ West, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Adele, Taylor Swift e Olivia Rodrigo também foram reconhecidos.

Nosso reizinho Abel é finalista de grandes categorias, como “Melhor Artista”, “Melhor Artista Masculino” e “Melhor Artista da Hot 100”. Sua colaboração com Ariana Grande, “Save Your Tears (Remix)”, concorre a seis prêmios. Hino, né, minha gente?! Amamos!

Já Doja Cat, que brilhou em passagem eletrizante pelo Lollapalooza Brasil 2022, é a principal finalista feminina, concorrendo a “Melhor Artista”, “Melhor Artista Feminina” e “Melhor Artista da Hot 100”. Seu álbum, “Planet Her”, também concorre em duas categorias, enquanto o sucesso “Kiss Me More”, com SZA, disputa os títulos de “Melhor Música da Hot 100”, “Melhor Colaboração”, bem como a nova categoria de “Músicas Virais”. Queen demais!

Justin Bieber, Ye e Olivia Rodrigo têm 13 indicações cada. Já Dua Lipa e Ed Sheeran estão empatados com nove indicações, enquanto o fenômeno BTS e Taylor Swift disputam sete categorias. Um fato curioso: Bieber é, hoje, o terceiro artista mais condecorado da história do BBMA, com 21 vitórias. O cantor está atrás apenas de Drake (29 vitórias) e Taylor Swift (25 vitórias). O trio concorre a prêmios nesta noite, então, o ranking pode mudar.

Além do anfitrião Diddy, o evento contará com 55 apresentadores, que entrarão no palco do evento para a entrega dos prêmios. Entre os nomes confirmados, está nossa Girl From Rio, Anitta!

O quê? Billboard Music Awards 2022!

Quando? Hoje, 15 de Maio.

Que horas começa? Às 21h (horário de Brasília), no TNT Brasil.

E o Red Carpet? No Brasil, o tapete vermelho será transmitido pelo E! Entertainment, e começa às 19h30.

Quem apresentará a cerimônia? O lendário rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs será o anfitrião da noite, mas o evento contará com mais de 55 artistas que subirão ao palco para a entrega dos prêmios. Entre eles, Anitta. A lista é imensa: Anthony Anderson, Chloe Bailey, Michael Bublé, Dove Cameron, Dixie D’Amelio, DJ Khaled, Giveon, Tiffany Haddish, Heidi Klum, Liza Koshy, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor e outros.
