O ano está quase acabando, mas as premiações não param nunca! Aconteceu, nessa terça-feira (6), o “People’s Choice Awards 2022“, evento que através de votação popular, celebra os melhores filmes, séries, músicas e artistas da vez! E teve brasileiro na parada, viu?! Virgínia Fonseca se destacou no evento e trouxe a estatueta para o nosso país.
A influenciadora esteve em Santa Mônica, na Califórnia, acompanhada do marido Zé Felipe para receber a honraria. Ela levou o prêmio na categoria de “Influenciador Brasileiro do Ano”. Anitta concorria como “Artista Latina do Ano”, mas a categoria foi vencida por Becky G. Bad Bunny, Shakira, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía e Sebastián Yatra também estavam na disputa.
Ryan Reynolds foi o grande homenageado da noite, com o troféu “Icon Award” por suas contribuições à indústria do entretenimento nas últimas três décadas. Ele também concorria nas categorias de “Melhor Ator de Comédia” e “Melhor Ator do Cinema” com o filme “O Projeto Adam“, da Netflix. No discurso, Reynolds enalteceu a família e a esposa, Blake Lively.
“Tudo começa com minha família e termina com minha família. Teremos um quarto filho muito em breve. Se acontecer esta noite enquanto eu estiver aqui, estarei procurando um sofá para dormir um pouco”, brincou. “Mas Blake e minhas filhas, vocês são literalmente meu coração, minha esperança, minha felicidade. Brinco que minha família me deixa exausto, mas na realidade vocês me dão mais força do que qualquer homem poderia merecer”, afirmou.

Lizzo recebeu o troféu de “Champion Award” por seu impacto na música e na TV, assim como por seu compromisso na luta pela diversidade e inclusão. Durante o discurso épico, a cantora criticou a “violência armada” e levou para o palco ativistas que, segundo ela, são quem merecem o destaque. “Vou ser sincera, quando ouvi falar desse prêmio pela primeira vez, fiquei em dúvida se deveria aceitar. Porque, se eu sou a ‘campeã do povo’, não preciso de troféu por defender o povo”, explicou.
“Estou aqui esta noite, porque ser um ícone não é sobre quanto tempo você tem sua plataforma. Ser um ícone é o que você faz com essa plataforma. E desde o início da minha carreira tenho usado minha plataforma para amplificar as vozes marginalizadas. O poder sempre será do povo. Muito obrigada, People’s Choice. Kris Jenner e Khloé Kardashian foram as responsáveis por buscar o prêmio de “Melhor Reality Show”, por “The Kardashians“. A mãe de True também levou o troféu de “Melhor Estrela de Reality Show”. “Obrigada por votarem em mim e na minha família. É muito bom poder viver nossas vidas em frente à TV e que vocês queiram assistir”, disse Khloé. “Nós temos o melhor trabalho do mundo, de poder trabalhar com a família.
